# The Campaigns list

> Where all your email and WhatsApp campaigns live: tabs, search, columns, the ⋮ menu and what to do with a scheduled campaign.

The **Campaigns** screen shows all your bulk sends, email and WhatsApp, in one place. From here you find a campaign, see how it did and start a new one.

To open it, click **Campaigns** in the side menu.

## Create a campaign

The **New campaign** button opens the channel choice:

* **Email campaign** — send to an audience.
* **WhatsApp campaign** — approved template to an audience.

**SMS campaign** and **A/B test** also show up, marked **Coming soon**, and cannot be clicked yet.

## Channel tabs

On the left, above the list:

* **All** — email and WhatsApp together.
* **Email** — email campaigns only.
* **WhatsApp** — WhatsApp campaigns only.

Each tab shows how many campaigns it has. The tab you pick changes the table columns (see below).

## Status tabs

Next to the channel tabs:

| Tab | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **All** | Every campaign in the chosen channel. |
| **Draft** | Campaigns you have not sent or scheduled yet. |
| **Scheduled** | Campaigns with a date and time set to go out. |
| **Sending** | Campaigns going out right now. |
| **Sent** | Campaigns that finished going out. |
| **Paused** | Filter for paused campaigns. |

The number next to a status tab only shows when the tab has campaigns. It counts all your campaigns, regardless of the channel tab, search or tag you picked.

Some situations have no tab of their own and only show under **All**: campaigns sent with failures (more than 10% of the audience was left without it), campaigns that failed, and large sends that stopped and are resuming on their own from where they were.

> [!NOTE]
>
> A WhatsApp campaign sent in waves that you paused between one wave and the next stays on the **Sending** tab, not on **Paused**. Under the status you see **Paused · wave 2 waiting** (with the wave number). When the next wave is waiting for you, the note reads **Wave 2 · waiting for you**.

### "Queued" is not "scheduled"

When a scheduled campaign's time comes, it waits a few moments before the send starts. An email you chose to send now also goes through this wait. During that time the row shows **Queued** and, under the name, **queued · sending shortly**. It stays on the **Scheduled** tab.

If more than 5 minutes pass after the set time and it has not gone out, the row goes back to **scheduled for** and the time, which is now in the past. That is the sign something is stuck.

## Search and filter

* **Search by name or #ID…** — type part of the name or the campaign number (for example `#137`). The number shows under the name after the first send.
* **Filter by tag** — pick a tag to see only the campaigns marked with it. To clear the filter, click the **✕** next to the tag name. If no campaign has a tag, the filter says: **No tagged campaigns yet.**

To tag a campaign, click **+ tag** on its row. On a computer the button appears when you hover over the row.

The list shows 10 campaigns per page, newest to oldest. Each row is sorted by the date it shows. That is why a campaign scheduled for next week sits at the top.

## The columns of each channel

Each channel measures different things. So the columns change with the channel tab:

| Channel tab | Number columns |
| - | - |
| **All** | **Sent** · **Campaign revenue** |
| **Email** | **Sent** · **Opens** · **Interactions** · **Clicks** · **Campaign revenue** |
| **WhatsApp** | **Sent** · **Delivered** · **Read** · **Replies** · **Clicks** · **Campaign revenue** |

On **All** you only see the numbers both channels measure the same way. An email open and a WhatsApp read are not the same thing, and they do not share a column.

* **Interactions** counts who used the interactive content of the email (carousel, survey, spin wheel).
* **Campaign revenue** is the revenue attributed to *this* campaign. A customer who received several campaigns counts in each one. So the column can add up to more than the Dashboard total, which credits each sale only once.
* The dash **—** means there is no number there yet. Drafts always show a dash.
* Numbers above 10 thousand are shortened (for example `12k`). Hover to see the full value.

If you see the **Metrics unavailable.** notice, sends and revenue are correct. Opens, interactions and clicks could not be read right now, but they are not zero.

On a phone, swipe the table sideways to see every column. The **⋮** button always stays on the right.

## The Draft tab

On the **Draft** tab the list changes shape and shows no numbers. The columns are **Name**, **Edited by** and **Last edit**. **Edited by** is only recorded from 18 August. Before that you see a dash.

* **Use →** opens the campaign so you can keep building it.
* Clicking the row does the same.

If the send of a scheduled campaign was refused, it goes back to draft with the notice **Not sent:** and the reason (for example, *no one in the audience can receive it*). Fix it and schedule or send it again.

A brand without its own verified domain doesn't send email: the campaign can't be tested or sent, and a scheduled one goes back to draft with that reason. Set up the domain in **Settings → Domain** ([How to set up DNS](https://docs.cliqo.io/en/entregabilidade/configurar-dns.md)).

## The ⋮ menu

The **⋮** menu at the end of each row depends on the campaign:

| Campaign | Options |
| - | - |
| Draft | **Edit** · **Duplicate** · **Delete** |
| Scheduled (email or WhatsApp), up to 2 minutes before its time | **View report** · **Edit** · **Duplicate** · **Delete** |
| Sending, sent or failed | **View report** · **Duplicate** · **Delete** |

* **Duplicate** makes a copy of the campaign under **Draft**, in the same channel, with the same content, the same audience and the same tags. The name gets **(copy)** at the end. The copy does not keep the scheduled date. For a WhatsApp campaign, it keeps the message template, the variables and the button link. If you turned on **Ignore the rest period for this send** in the original, the copy goes back to following the account's rest period.
* **Delete** asks you to confirm and removes the campaign from the list.

Users with **Viewer** access see **New campaign**, **Edit**, **Duplicate** and **Delete** greyed out.

## What opens when you click a row

* **Draft**: opens the campaign builder, so you pick up where you left off. A WhatsApp draft opens in the WhatsApp step-by-step flow.
* **Any other status**: opens the campaign report. If you use the browser's back button, the list reopens on the same channel tab and the same page.

While any campaign is sending, the list refreshes on its own every 10 seconds.

## What about a campaign that is already scheduled?

For a scheduled **email** campaign, **⋮ › Edit** opens the campaign builder with the schedule loaded. You can change the content, the audience or the time and click **Schedule campaign** again. To remove the schedule, click **Save draft**: the campaign goes back to **Draft** and is not sent at that time. Going to the builder through **Edit in builder** keeps the schedule.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Editing works until **2 minutes before** the set time. After that the campaign may already be sending: **Edit** leaves the menu, and an edit that was already open is not saved (the screen tells you). To stop the send at that point, use **⋮ › Delete** before the set time. A deleted campaign is not sent.

For a scheduled **WhatsApp** campaign, **⋮ › Edit** opens the WhatsApp step-by-step with the schedule loaded and a banner at the top showing the date and time. You can change the template, the variables, the audience or the time and click **Save draft**: the campaign stays scheduled, with your changes. To remove the schedule, click **Remove the schedule** in the banner: the campaign goes back to **Draft** and won't send at that time. The same **2 minutes** from the warning above apply here.

The account owner or an admin can restore a deleted campaign from **Trash**, in your account menu (the circle with your initials). It comes back exactly as it was. A scheduled campaign comes back scheduled. If its set time has already passed, it joins the send queue.
