What you will learn

The campaign delivery modes and how send pacing protects your reputation on large lists.

Send now or schedule

On the Delivery tab:
  • Send now — when you confirm on Review, the campaign is queued and goes out shortly (the badge shows Queued until the send starts).
  • Schedule — pick a date and time; the campaign shows as Scheduled and fires on its own at that time.
  • Smart send — shows as Coming soon; it isn’t available yet.

Send pacing

Pacing spreads the send over a window instead of releasing everything in the same minute: When to use it: large lists, or a base still in warmup. Sudden volume spikes are one of the classic triggers for blocks at mailbox providers — spreading the same volume over a few hours delivers the same result without the spike. Two behaviors worth knowing:
  • Pacing is self-correcting. If one slice falls behind, the next one compensates — the campaign finishes within the chosen window, with nothing left over.
  • No one receives twice. Duplicate protection is per recipient, independent of how the send is sliced.

While the send is running

The campaign report follows along live (“Sending…”) and you can close the screen — sending continues on the server. If a send is interrupted midway, it resumes automatically from where it stopped (“Resuming automatically…”), and no one receives it twice. If the resume stops progressing for more than 10 minutes — or if the send fails —, the report shows the Resume sending button, which opens campaign setup with Resume pending recipients: it sends only to the pending recipients.
