What you will learn
The complete path of an email campaign: from settings to the send button, through message, audience and delivery. Before you start
- Verified domain and sending identity configured (first-send checklist).
- The brand’s Legal name and Physical address filled in under Settings › Sending (they go in the email footer) — the send is refused while the address is missing.
- Editor role or above.
Tab 1 · Set up
- Internal name — visible only to your team (e.g. “Black Friday — VIP customers”).
- Subject and preheader — both accept personalization tags, such as
{{primeiro_nome|Olá}}. - Sender — display name + any address on your verified domain. The screen warns you if the address isn’t registered for AMP (or if it can’t tell from there) and if the domain’s DKIM is inactive. Reply-To is set per brand, under Settings › Sending.
- Tracking — opens and clicks are tracked on every send.
- Campaign tags — tag the campaign type (e.g.
black-friday,launch) to compare campaigns of the same type in your reports. Tags become available after the campaign is saved — or tag it from the campaigns list. - UTMs for Google Analytics — preconfigured; you can customize each field. Validation warns you if
utm_mediumisn’t one of the values GA recognizes, and links that already carry your site’s own UTMs are not overwritten.
Tab 2 · Message
If you came from the editor, the template is already chosen and the Next: Audience button skips this tab. Without a template, it shows the “Choose the AMP template” gallery — all interactive with AMP, with automatic HTML fallback and your brand applied (logo and colors); the “Create custom template” card is still Coming soon. To adjust the content of an editor template, Edit in builder (at the top) takes you back to the editor — what you’ve already filled in on the campaign is saved first.Tab 3 · Audience
Build the audience by adding lists and segments — the final audience is the union, with no duplicates. Details in How to define the audience.Tab 4 · Delivery
- Delivery mode: Send now or Schedule (date and time). Smart send shows as Coming soon — it isn’t available yet.
- Send pacing: instant, or spread over 1, 4, 8 or 24 hours — recommended for large lists (why).
- WhatsApp: an email campaign doesn’t send WhatsApp. The tab points you to Automations — to send a WhatsApp message to anyone who fills in the email’s form or clicks, create an automation with a WhatsApp step.
