What you will learn
How to build, configure and publish the Welcome pop-up — an offer with a coupon in exchange for signing up.Before you start
- Pixel installed and domain verified.
- The company’s legal name, CNPJ (Brazilian company tax ID) and privacy policy URL at hand — without them the piece won’t publish.
Customise · the offer
The Customise step holds the piece name, the offer, the image, the brand colors, the company details and what you ask for — with the preview alongside, on desktop and mobile, running the real engine.- What people get for signing up — Give a coupon (the code shows on screen right after signing up) or Just say thanks (no code: the piece thanks them and says what comes next).
- Headline — the promise (“Get 10% off your first purchase”). Want to test two versions? Tick Test two headlines at once: each visitor always sees the same variant, and the report compares the rates.
- Coupon — a single code, the same for everyone, with the expiry you choose (from 30 minutes to 72 hours) — it’s the clock the visitor sees. A short expiry creates real urgency.
- Image — positioned left, right, top or behind; the screen recommends a lightweight WebP.
- Your brand and Company details — the colors need minimum contrast, and the legal name with CNPJ (Brazilian company tax ID) and the privacy policy go into the consent text.
Customise · what you ask for
- Email — required.
- Mobile — optional (Also ask for the phone); it only becomes a WhatsApp contact if the person ticks the WhatsApp consent box, which is separate from the email one (both start unchecked — authorization is a choice, not a trap).
- Up to 3 extra typed fields (text, number, date, yes/no) — e.g. date of birth for the birthday segment.
Behaviour
- When it shows — from the 2nd page, after 8 seconds (the recommended default — captures better than pouncing on arrival), as soon as they arrive, or when they look like they’re leaving.
- Whoever fills it in joins the list you choose (or none — then they only become a contact) — and can trigger the welcome flow.
- How often — the interval before someone who closed it sees the piece again (e.g. once a week, stopping after 2 refusals). No bombardment.
- Where it shows (optional) — only on some pages, or never on others. Checkout is always blocked, as a fixed rule.
- Where it leads — the address of the button shown after signing up, with the tags your store will read in its own report.
