The Regions screen shows where your sales come from, by state and by city, and how many of those people you can reach by email and by WhatsApp. Use it to decide where a local campaign, a shipping offer or a single-city segment is worth it. To open it: in the side menu, Audience › Regions.

The three controls

At the top of the screen:
  • Period: 7 d, 30 d or 90 d. It opens on 30 days and always ends today.
  • Metric: Revenue, Orders or Contacts. It opens on Revenue.
  • Layer: Bubbles (the one that opens) or States. With no cities to show, only the States layer appears.
Right below, a strip says how much of the total has a known address, for example “82% of revenue with an address”. That is the share of your sales Cliqo could locate. What is left out are orders with no delivery address, or with an address Cliqo did not recognize.

The map

On a computer, the map sits on the left and the list on the right, at the same height. On the Bubbles layer, each city is a bubble in its place:
  • The bigger the bubble, the higher the value of the chosen metric. There are four sizes, comparing the cities with each other.
  • The six cities with the highest value get their name next to them and a pulse. When two names don’t fit together, one is hidden; it comes back when you zoom in.
  • Click a bubble to open a balloon with the city’s value, buyers and reachable people, and the Build segment button. The city’s row is marked in the list. Click outside the balloon, or on the ×, to close it.
  • Click a state and the list shows only its cities. Click the same state again to clear the filter.
On the States layer, the map colors the states:
  • The darker the state, the higher the value of the chosen metric. There are four shades, comparing the states with each other.
  • An even lighter shade marks a state that has sales but shows no number (the reason is in Why some places show no number, further down).
  • A gray state has no data for the chosen metric.
  • Click a state and the list switches to the States tab, with that state’s row highlighted.
On a phone, the list comes first. Tap Show on map to open the map.
The base map comes from Google. The colors and numbers are drawn in your browser: Cliqo does not send your sales data or your customers’ data to Google.
If the map does not open, the screen says The map didn’t load right now. The list has the same numbers. Nothing is lost: carry on with the list.

The list

Two tabs: Cities (the one that opens) and States. Places are sorted from largest to smallest by the chosen metric. Above the list:
  • Search city… (or Search state…, on the States tab): finds by name, with or without accents.
  • State: all: pick a state to see only its cities. The filter shows as a tag with an × to clear it. It is the same filter as clicking a state on the Bubbles layer.
  • The count of what is in the list, for example “35 cities”.
On a phone, the list shows the first 10. Show all opens the rest. Each row shows:
  • the name of the city (with the state abbreviation) or of the state;
  • the value of the metric in the period;
  • buyers: how many different people bought with delivery there;
  • reachable: how many of them you can contact by email and by WhatsApp.
Click a row to mark it: the Build segment button appears on it. On the Bubbles layer, the city’s bubble is marked on the map. With the Contacts metric, the row counts contacts instead of buyers.

Build a segment from a place

The Build segment button sits on the marked row of the list and in the bubble’s balloon. It opens the segment builder with the Bought with delivery to condition already filled in: the city or state of that row, in the last N days, using the same period shown on the screen. The segment counts the same people the row shows as buyers. The button appears on the Revenue and Orders metrics. On Contacts it does not, because the segment is built from orders, not from the contact record. After saving, use the segment as the audience of a campaign. More in How to create segments.

How Cliqo counts

Three points that explain differences:
  • A sale seen only by the pixel does not count. The pixel carries no address. Revenue and Orders by region depend on orders from a connected store, with a delivery address.
  • Revenue and buyers follow slightly different rules. A pending Pix adds to revenue, but the person only becomes a buyer when the order is paid. Revenue follows the same rule as the Home screen; buyers follow the same rule as the segment.
  • The numbers belong to the active brand. In an account with more than one brand, switch brands to see the other one.

Why some places show no number

To protect your customers, a place with fewer than 5 buyers shows no number (on the Contacts metric, fewer than 5 contacts). With so few people, the value would reveal how much one specific person spent.
  • On the States tab and on the map, the state appears as has sales, no number.
  • On the Cities tab, those cities are added up into a single row at the end: Other cities (N) and their total. If even together they do not reach 5 buyers, the row says fewer than 5 buyers each (on the Contacts metric, fewer than 5 contacts each).
These places have no Build segment button.

The “Where you sell” card on the Home screen

The Home screen has the Where you sell card, with the five cities with the highest revenue in the period chosen there. Each city shows its revenue, the reachable people and the Build segment button. See Regions opens the full screen. On the card, Build segment only appears when the Home screen’s period ends today. When no order arrived in the period, the card becomes Where your base is: the cities with the most contacts, by the city on the contact record, counting the whole base (it does not depend on the period). It explains that it will go back to showing where you sell once the store’s orders reach Cliqo.

When the screen does not show the places

  • Import your contacts’ city or ZIP code to see where you sell. It appears when less than 30% of the total has a known address: with so little, the map would mislead. The most complete path is to connect your store, in Settings → Integrations, because orders already carry the delivery address. For the Contacts metric, you can also import your contacts with columns named Cidade and Estado (those exact names; the state can be the abbreviation or the full name). A ZIP code alone, with no city and state, does not place the contact on the map yet.
  • No sales recorded in this window. No store order arrived in the period. A sale seen only by the pixel does not count: regions come from the orders of your connected store, which carry the delivery address. Check the integration in Settings → Integrations or try 90 d.
  • No sales with an address in this window. There is no place to show in the chosen period.
  • We couldn’t read the regions right now. It’s a read failure, not a lack of sales. Use Try again.
